Refund policy
Due to incidences of Return Fraud, we are keeping Photo Records of package contents for orders. In addition, there will also be a tamper-evident sticker on high-value products' outer packaging. If there are any signs of tampering/removal of sticker, we will NOT accept return requests. We will request photos of product before considering return requests.
As part of shipping procedures, all orders are double-checked and verified against enclosed packing slip before sealing to eliminate packing errors. We will NOT approve any requests claiming the wrong product was sent if our photo records show otherwise.
If you proceed with purchasing our products, you are indicating that you understand our policies and agree to comply with them. Thank you for understanding that we must minimize potential fraudulent claims/losses as they can be detrimental to our small business. (・ω・)ノThanks♪
Returns (excludes products marked as Final Sale)
Return requests must be made within 15 days. If 15 days have passed since your purchase, unfortunately, we will be unable to offer you a refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be the exact product we sent you, unused and in the same new condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. Product tags and tamper seals must be intact and in their original, new condition - NO EXCEPTIONS.

Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund. In the case you want to return an item that qualified for Free Shipping, you will be credited for the returned merchandise minus the cost to ship the product(s) to you and the return shipping label.
Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
It may take up to several weeks for a refund to appear in your bank or credit card account. If you haven’t received a refund yet, please recheck your bank or credit card account. Then contact your bank or credit card company - it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Sale items (if applicable)
All sale or clearance items are Final Sale. Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.
Exchanges (if applicable)
We inspect all orders for quality before shipping out. However, if you have questions about your order, please send us an email at help@ayellowgiraffe.com.
Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift credit will be emailed to you.
If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and the gift giver will find out about your return.
Shipping

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
If you are shipping an item over $50, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance as we cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
Please be advised, we cannot be responsible for theft that occurs after a shipment has been properly confirmed as delivered by the carrier. The buyer must file a claim with the carrier.
- All orders are tracked and verified for delivery confirmation. If an order has been confirmed as delivered but package is missing, we advise the buyer to start a claim with the carrier. Please email us within 7 days so that we may direct you on how to start a claim with the carrier within the required time frame. For high value items, a signature will be required upon delivery.
