Designed by Esther Schuivens, she created Esthex after encountering a drawing by her 4-year-old self in 2003. Esther was inspired by the humor and simplicity in the drawing, and thus it became the model for the first Esthex doll.

My daughter received a Storm Boy years ago. It’s her special lovey almost a decade later. He’s still in decent condition despite being loved daily.
